Another thought-another take on New York

Well I just published the last blog and I am watching Craig Ferguson. I was just talking about how New Yorkers and the city in general have a certain attitude.

Maybe not. Craig Ferguson had John Mellencamp on and he was sharing that he had seen Mellencamp play in Scotland back in the 70’s with Thin Lizzy, so he had my attention at that point. Then he went on to talk of another show featuring the Stranglers, a UK punk outfit, who apparently encouraged the fans to come up o the stage. They apparently did the same deal when they did their show in Scotland.

the crowd took them up on their offer and came up to the stage, and proceeded to steal everything-Amps, instruments, microphones.

Maybe they got the same opportunistic streak.
