A Time Capsule of Sorts

I began writing this post last year. I had saved it at 5:29 PM on March 29th, 2020. After that it was neglected until this evening.

Signed on this morning to see what is going on. Rhode Island had some type of order in place to stop New Yorkers entering the state? Now gone I believe but still. Florida might have something similar set up on 95 down south? Somewhere else I heard that the sale of guns has increased in the US.

Then I came on here and heard that Alan Merrill passed. He is one of many who I am connected to here. Met him once or twice, but did not really know him, but gone now. His music I know, and his involvement with the LES music scene I know. He will be missed.

I also this morning got a message from a dude asking me to check out his band’s song on Youtube. Typically, I don’t do much with such. I am sure I am missing out on some good stuff but just a case of I am busy with with the stuff in front of me.

This time I did check it out. The title is Give Love from a band called the Shrieks.

A snippet from March 29th of last year. The song is cool, but we lost a lot of people last year. And on March 29th things were just getting started.

I suspect this was in fact a Facebook post that I pasted here afterwards with the intent of doing something.
