A Final Nod

Saw Chris Goercke play a bunch of times with GSX and the X’s a long-time ago. Was just a pleasure. He was at it before those bands. He continued on after them. When I was promoting shows I was aiming to get the X’s up to Westchester and he was very much part of that. Never happened and sadly lost track of him.

I knew he was still around. I would catch him playing with various acts through the years. Sadly last month I read of his passing. I discovered over the last few weeks that he was not only a great guitarist but just a great guy. He had touched a lot of folks through the years.

Just a final nod to the man. He will be missed.
