The Silver Lines
I’m always on the lookout for bands that can keep the punk/Indie flame burning but also bring a genuine quality all their own with it.
So for my third installment of ‘Dawson’s Pick’ I bring you:
The Silver Lines!
Hailing from Birmingham, England, The Silver Lines began in 2018 with brothers Dan and Joe on Lead Vocals and Guitar. A revolving set of players started and finished with them along the way but it was meeting drummer Kindo and bass player Joe C in 2019 that the band formed a serious four piece unit.
With clear early punk influences from the 1970’s, tossed with a little Iggy, Chuck Berry and later bands like The Stone Roses and The Black Angels, The Silver Lines began to make a name for themselves across the U.K. Playing significant venues in Manchester, Birmingham and London, they quickly established a solid fan base.
While a tour was planned for 2021, due to Covid the shows are now rescheduled and still being rescheduled.
Here are two videos I loved, a place to hear more, and buy merch plus links to all the places you can hear more of them.
