Closer to the Heart – A Salute to Neil Peart & Rush
Though I have a love – hate relationship with this band, you cannot deny the power of Neil Peart. His abilities behind his drum kit were just incredible. Regardless of who I am talking to that is basically just a given. And musically, the trio were impressive.
So regardless of what I think ultimately of rock songs contemplating romantic poems and combining science fiction and intellectual history, I might have to check out this show over in Long Island City.
