The Len Price 3 – My Longtime Obsession & Why They Should Be Yours
The Len Price 3 – my longtime obsession and why they should be yours.
I have loved this band for years. With completely catchy hooks, classic garage punch, this speeding train combo ( consisting of Glenn Page on guitar & vocals, Steve Higgins on bass and Neil Frommow on drums) they hail from North Kent in the U.K. Influenced by bands like The Who, The Kinks and even The Beatles, their tracks are long enough to excite but short enough to leave you wanting more.
They released their first album, Chinese Burn, in 2006 on the Australian label Laughing Outlaw Records, with their single “Christian in the Desert” sending them off on a wide U.K tour then finally landing in America. They eventually signed with Wicked Cool Records ( Steve VanZandt’s label) and in 2007 their second LP, “RentACrowd” was released.
In 2010 “Pictures” was released, clearly a tremendous growth for the band with a more polished sound. Their fourth release came after a long break, and in 2014 “Nobody Knows” finally came out. With influences from The Jam and late 70’s punk, this was one of my favorites. A fifth release, “Kentish” in 2017, followed.
New music was just put out four months ago and I couldn’t be any happier!
